484: Navigating Creative Differences in Relationships – Both Life and Business
Every relationship has creative differences and we all have to learn how to handle them. When in a relationship with someone, it is not always possible to be in 100% agreement. To minimize conflicts, it is important to communicate in advance if the project is a collaboration or if one partner will take the creative lead. Additionally, it is important to recognize each other’s strengths and weaknesses to understand where the other is coming from. Rob and Kim use a few comical examples from their own life, including Rob’s “parachute pants”, to discuss how they are working to overcome this challenge in their own relationship.
